If you ask me, As of now Batteries are a major hurdle to technological advancement ,from mobile phones to electric cars every machines use is limited by the bulky batteries.
Any improvement in this is worth celebrating..

Now, North Carolina-based Superlattice Power Inc has announced a successful move toward development of a new cathode material, which the company says "will be incorporated to a Lithium Ion Polymer battery that significantly increases operating voltage range and energy density."

It doesn't seem to offer much of an improvement, nevertheless something is better than nothing!

A couple of years back i believed we can produce machines which can absorb c02 (to tell the truth i thought there will be machines which convert co2 to o2!) ,looks like finally somebody is going to build a prototype...phew
